I have woken up to another test of my
rationality
Begun by self-commissioning into forges of
independence.
Memory wouldn't deny that I am my nation-state
afar
In probation of my outlook in relations abroad.
I admit of personalities desirous of my downfall
In hope, in faith to bring me to parity with
frivolity.
I should fall for stop-gap philosophies of
governance
And charades of pragmatic detail in eloquence.
I should believe in gluttony to die nationless,
Not having been sited aright or behind the wind.
I should think of my journeys as evanescent;
Their texture in soul and brawn do reverberate.
Very much of my nation-state is in limbo
In politics of superiority among parties in
gloom.
To calculate to overshadow is to be in gloom,
Disenchanted by a fellow's unmatchable
resplendence.
How worse to work to deploy nationals against
their kin!
You clarify your drive and ambitions in haste.
They consist of nothing but the undoing of self
In windy relations eroding of faith and trust in
harmony.
