SILVERADO: One Steel Oak | ZAS: ZELOPHEHAD ADAH SAMPSON [ZAS]


Nobody could say with certainty of his popularity as SILVERADO but he drove about when at leisure from work a pick-up truck labelled "Z71".

To each stop in his neighbourhood arose euphoric pleasantries and accolades which brought him to an immediate picnic of wine and merriment. Upon return to his cottage, he went to sleep with immediacy.

One week-day, SILVERADO closed and got home early, had a bath in his swimming pool, took a nap and awoke a little before dusk. He entered Z71 and drove downtown. When he arrived at the square of his usual get-together with admirers, he encountered a seated multitude of members of his community.

"What's the problem?" he asked, as they had welcomed him with silence.

"There is absence of leadership in our midst, SILVERADO. Thankfully, we have a spokesperson in me, CHEVROLET. With the authority of our people, I, therefore, declare you, SILVERADO, head of government here. You love us too much."

THERE is an automotive product by CHEVROLET called SILVERADO (sometimes with the inscription Z71), visible below. In the above piece of writing, however, the term is used differently although it is possible to affiliate its usage with the PICK-UP TRUCK by the noun.
