A Piece of Flash Fiction
There once was a king married to ten queens. Every queen was personally responsible for each of his smiles and frowns. Whenever he smiled, the causative woman blushed in humble self-adulation of her aptitude for the accomplishment.
One cold
morning while he emerged from his bedroom with one of them, three others went
to him. He frowned in confusion. Then one got behind as two took positions on
both sides of him with simultaneous kisses.
He smiled,
laughed and nodded.
"Who
brought this joy upon you?" they asked in unison.
The man
laughed again. "This is causation by contagion. You're all to be praised
for it," he replied to their own hilarity.
